GUELPH SILVERCREEKS ARE DEFEATED BY THE KITCHENER JR PANTHERS

Guelph Silvercreeks fell to Kitchener JR Panthers 6-5 on Tuesday.
The Panthers were the first to get on the board in the second when Liam Mctague singled, scoring one run.
Guelph Silvercreeks scored on a passed ball, which helped the Silvercreeks tie the game at one in the top of the third.
Guelph jumped back into the lead in the top of the fourth inning after Ryan Cutten hit a sacrifice fly, Sam Kim was struck by a pitch, and the Creeks scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.
Kitchener made the score 6-4 in the bottom of the seventh after a double, scored one run, and an error scored two runs.
Jackson Markwood took the loss for the Guelph Silvercreeks. The reliever went two innings, giving up three runs (one earned) on two hits, striking out one and walking one. Judah McArthur began the game for the Silvercreeks. The starter allowed three hits and one run over three innings, striking out three and walking two.
Aidan Edmunds and Jackson Heimbecker were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Guelph while hitting back-to-back. Cutten, Noah Cantwell, and Kim each drove in one run for the Silvercreeks.
Guelph Silvercreeks will travel to Waterloo to play the Tigers for their next game on July 2nd.
