GUELPH SILVERCREEKS COME UP SHORT IN BRANTFORD

Guelph Silvercreeks lost to the Brantord JR Red Sox 6-1 on Thursday night in Brantford.
Judah McArthur took the loss for the Silvercreeks who fall to 4-5-1 on the season. The right-handed pitcher went three and one-third innings, surrendering three runs on seven hits, striking out six and walking none. Max Rutherford stepped on the hill first for Guelph Silvercreeks. The pitcher allowed three hits and one run over three innings, striking out four and walking one.
Noah Cantwell led Guelph Silvercreeks with one run batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-4 on the day.
Guelph Silvercreeks welcome the Stratford Nationals to Larry Pearson Park on Saturday July 5. Game time is 7:30pm
